Car Description

Another car that will help see off the 60th year of Corvettes is the 2013 Corvette 427 Convertible. The 427 is a mixture of the ZR1 and the Z06 styles of Corvette, with one major difference, its a convertible. The 427 will also help say goodbye to the current models of sports car that Chevrolet makes. In other words, this will be a year for the collectors.<.p>

The 427ís Engine

The 427 carries many features of the ZR1 and the Z06, but it is entirely its own car. A major difference is how big the engine is. The engine of the 427 is a 7.0 liter LS7 engine that was found in the Z06, but because the 427 was built differently, the engine has a better weight to power ratio, at 6.64 pounds per one horse power. This was made possible by the carbon fiber options

The engine of the 427 also is special because you can build it. The Chevrolet company has allowed buyers to come in and help make small changes in the engine so that it is truly customized. You can even buy a package where you can help hand assemble your new car. Make sure not to miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity.

427ís Features

If we are going to buy a car thatís not just for show, but a car that we are actually going to drive, we want to make sure that it has all of the bells and whistles. The 427 features everything that you could ever want in a comfort vehicle, and puts it into a high performance vehicle. You will have a standard HUD (Heads Up Display) that will give you information about your car at any given time. If you turn the HUD to sports mode, you will even have a G-meter, something that you canít get in normal cars.

You will also get a kicking audio system to go with your kicking new ride. the 427 comes with a Bose Premium Audio System with 9 speakers and two tweeters located in the dashboard. To control the system there is a 6.5-inch touch screen, but you donít even have to use the touchscreen do to the finger controls on the steering wheel and the voice recognition system that is built in.

If you are someone who lives in a cold area, its nice to be able to leave the house and get into your already warmed up car. The 427 lets you have the option of both a keyless start and a keyless entry system. If your car doesnít heat up fast enough for your liking, you can always turn on the heated seats to make sure that even the seats arenít cold when you are sitting down.

For all of you collectors out there, there is a special numbering system on in the VIN number so you can see which car that you have, making the 427 truly a car that is meant to be a collectors item. Make sure that you get your hands on one of these as soon as possible, because this will be the last year of the C6 line of performance cars, and they are going out with a bang.
