Car Description

The 2013 Chevrolet Caprice PPV or Police Patrol Vehicle, is of a brand new design of car that does not have a base of any other car. The idea of this car is to give the police a bit of an edge when they are either in a high-speed chase or when they are waiting in their car.

2013 PPV Cop Friendliness

As we know from movies, there are certain occasions where a police officer will have to use is car as his office for a period of time. The Caprice PPV helps makes sure that they are comfortable, making them more prepared for any challenge that may arise.

One of the main ways that the PPV does this is the seat. Police officers usually have a rather large belt that carries items meant to be reached quickly, but this belt can sometimes be bulky and painful in normal car seats. Now the PPV makes its so the officer can be comfortable. The seat has a special form that allows the belt to be pushed farther into the seat with less pressure on the officer. It also features a slightly different type of foam that conforms to the shape of the belt and cradles it.

The seats were also made from in-the-field testing. This allows that officers actually got the chance to sit in and test out the new seats for a large period of time before making the final choice. This helped determine what type of material that they should use, such as a light material that can breathe, mixed with a heavier material that will take more wear and tear from the constant use.

2013 PPV Exterior Features

When you are a cop, you want everything to be right at hand. The PPV make everything thing that you need easy to reach and easy to control. For example, if you have someone in the backseat that is causing trouble, you can lock the doors and windows with a simple push of a button. There are also quite a few different little things, just to make the officers life easier.

There are things like heated outside mirrors that help on days where your mirrors might fog up, it clears them up so you can see anyway. Or there are special lock cylinders for when you need to make sure your front doors are lock or your trunk for when you are carrying something dangerous. You will also have the option of having a spot for or an actual spot light for all of your lighting needs

So as you might be able to see, Chevy has put a lot of thought into this new cruiser special for cops. Make sure that you donít miss out on this opportunity for a more comfortable ride.
