Car Description

The Toyota Highlander has always been a SUV for comfort. This hasnít changed at all. In fact the 2013 Highlander is one of the most comfortable vehicles that you can buy. Lets see why.

2013 Toyota Highlander Comfort

When you buy a new car, comfort is one of the first things that you look for. The Highlander has no shortage of comfort features. Depending on how much you want to spend, you can get different levels of comfort.

The basic comfort package of the Highlander has many of the newest features available. All models of the Highlander come with the following: third row seating, power door lock with multi functionality, conversation mirror illuminated entry system, second and third row reading lamps, full spare tire, and rear privacy glass.

Now on the other hand, if you really want to be riding in comfort, you can go for the slightly more expensive plus package. This package includes quite a few different things as well. You will have a 3.5 inch Multi Information Display, which will give you information like the time, outside temperature, warning messages, cruise information like fuel economy, average speed, distance to empty, and a trip timer.

It also adds a rear back-up camera thatís hooked into the screen of your radio. You will also get roof racks and large cargo area, metallic accents, fog lights and an engine immobilizer that helps to keep your car from being stolen.

You will also have the option to upgrade to the Leather Premium package

The Highlander will also get the Toyota Entune system, with three years of free access. The Entune system is actually a very interesting piece of equipment. The Entune system allows you access to many different apps that help you if you are looking food, gas stations, or any app that your smart phone can get. Once you hook up your smart phone, you will be able to control it all by the 6.1-inch touch screen, or in some apps, voice recognition.

2013 Highlander Safety Features

Like all of the different Toyota car, the Highlander has some of the best safety features. It starts off with the Toyota Star Safety System. The Toyota Star Safety System is a base for many of the safety features. These vehicles have Stability Control, ABS, Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), SST (Smart Stop Technology) and BA, Brake Assist.

There is also the advanced Airbag system for the front seats. The Advanced Airbag system will measure the force of the collision and see if it really needs to deploy the airbags. You might think that you should always deploy the airbag, but in reality, if the airbags deploy in a low level collision, it can actually hurt that passengers. There is also the front and rear curtain airbags. These will deploy if you get hit from the side or if you roll the car over.

A safe car that also has enough uniqueness to impress your friends, thatís the Toyota Highlander
