Car Description

Ready both good looks and great usability? The 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser provides both for you. When you are looking into a SUV, usually you are looking for something that is big enough to do whatever you want, but comfortable enough to almost want to live in.

2013 FJ Cruiser Comfort

When you are on some of the tougher roads of America, especially if you put yourself there on purpose, one of the main things that you worry about is how comfortable you will be one your trip. But with the FJ Cruiser, you donít have to worry about that.

Along with all of the normal comfort that a Toyota offers, there are several packages that you can get to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. One of the available packages offers a keyless entry, cruise control, power side view mirrors, rear privacy glass, daytime running lights, rear window wiper, and rear backup camera integrated with the rearview mirror.

If that isnít quite enough for you, there is another package that you can get. The second package includes a floating ball, multi-info display system, a 120V AC power outlet, a JBL Premium Audio system, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

If that still isnít enough for you, you can go to the Toyota dealer and look at the catalog for all of the different things that you can put on your new SUV. They feature things like rock rails, roof racks, aux. driving lights, brush guards, sport exhaust system, wind deflector, tail light guards, front and rear winches and varying cargo mats to keep your floor clean.

FJ Cruiser Connectivity

We know that one of the most important things of a car is being able to show off the sound system. Well this is a SUV that you can. The basic system offers a AM/FM CD player with MP3 and WMA playback, six speakers, XM radio with a free 90 day subscription, auxiliary audio jack, USB port with iPod capabilities.

If you are someone who likes to keep your hands free, changing music on your iPod can become an issue. But most everything in the FJ Cruiser is hands free. You can start streaming your music via Bluetooth, and then when you are driving use the integrated buttons on the steering wheel to change your music, how loud it is and even take your calls. If you really want to impress people with your stereo system, you can buy the larger deal and get the 10 speaker set, with a sub-woofer.

2013 Cruiser Safety features

If you have an SUV there is also a good chance that you have kids. If that is the case you would want to keep them as safe as possible while you were driving. The FJ Cruiser provides that safety for you. The advanced airbag system in the FJ Cruiser will only deploy if you get in a particularly sever accident so it doesnít cause more damage than it saves you from. There is also front seat mounted airbags for the back seat, as well as curtain airbags for the entire car.

There are also active headrests for the front seats. This means that if you get rear ended hard enough, the headrest will move up and forward protecting your head and neck from moving too far and causing damage to your body.

If you are someone who is a bit of a family man, but also like the idea of hitting a few more of the rugged trails of the U.S., getting a 2013 FJ Cruiser is probably the right thing to do.
