Car Description

The Chevrolet Spark is a car that is in the mini category. This means that while the car is small in size it is well likeable to most people. The 2013 Spark has taken this to the next level and has joined in on the “Cute” type of car. This means that its a small car that attracts mostly teenagers and families. It is also the first car in the mini category made by Chevrolet that is sold in the U.S. and Canada markets.

The 2013 Chevrolet Spark comes with a Front-wheel-drive five-speed with integrated differential manual transmission or the optional four-speed front-wheel-drive, electronically controlled, automatic overdrive transaxle with an electronically controlled torque converter clutch, automatic.

Whether you are part of a family or you are a teenager, there are two things that might interest you in buying the Spark. Its safety features and its infotainments system. On either one of these two things, you would want to know what it has well before you decide to buy one, so lets take a look into what we have.

2013 Spark Infotainment System

Especially if you are of the younger generation, you want to have a good sounds system in your car to rock out with your friends. But the Infotainment system of the Spark takes it one step further and creates more than a just a normal sounds system and integrates things such as a GPS and a BlueTooth hookup to your phone to make sure you can stay connected all the time while still being safe.

The Infotainment system of the Spark primarily uses the MyLink system to achieve all of the different things that you might need or want to have. First of all, MyLink comes with two pre-downloaded radio programs, Pandora Internet Radio and Stitcher Smart Radio. When using these two radio programs, you can choose the type of music that you want to listen to and not have to monkey around on the radio to find something you like.

Even though the spark doesn’t come with a CD player, it does make up for it in the fact that it has a BlueTooth system that can hook up to your phone. This means that you can use most anything that is on your phone and hook it directly into your car. You can stream your music, and even watch videos when the car is at a complete stop.

2013 Spark Safety

When we are about to buy a new car, the safety of ourselves and our families is something very important to us. So what does the Chevrolet Spark have to offer that can put our mind at ease? For starters, more than 62 percent of its undercarriage and 42% of its frame is made out of a high strength steel, meaning it can take more of a beating without hurting the people inside it.

Among other features, you can get the OnStar system. The OnStar system connects to your car at all times and constantly is checking in with the main database. This makes it so that if your car crashes, it will send an emergency signal to the company. When the company gets this signal, they will call your car and make sure you are okay. If need be, the company will use your GPS to see where you crashed and will send an ambulance to make sure you have the best chance of walking away from a bad accident.

The Spark is a car that you might want to consider for your teenagers 18th birthday, or maybe for the family if you are so inclined.
