The Tango T600 is a small Electric kit car using two separate drive motors one for each drive wheel. It employs 2 direct drive gear boxes and can be designed with various ratios for the desired power or speed.
The Air Conditioner is a 12,000BTU unit driven by an electric 3,000 w motor.
Charging and Batteries
Charging is done by an 40 amp on-board charger with a Avcon conductive coupler. and uses 10 Hawker Genesis G70EP lead acid batteries and includes the option of Li-ion batteries.
Safety
Considerable safety measure were employed in the design of the T600 including a roll cage that exceeds both scca and nhrs regulations. Over the outside of the chrom-moly steel race car roll cage, there are 100% carbon fiber/epoxy panels.
